Blog On at BlogOnToys: Knowing Me, Knowing you. Aha.

This weekend, I've managed to wangle a last minute escape to the fab-u-lous blogging conference known as Blog On. I'm excited about this for lots of reasons but mainly because it has a festive theme... and as you'll see below, I LOVE Christmas!

The first challenge is to share a recent photo of myself... I don't have that many, but I did get chance to dress up posh at my brother's wedding this summer. So here's me and my two girls - do we scrub up OK (and can you tell I'm a Northerner even though I now live dahn sarf)?! 

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BLOGGING? 

Free therapy for me! But in addition to that, I’ve met so many fab and friendly people over the years… so it has to be the people. 

WHAT WAS YOUR DREAM JOB WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?

Dancer. It’s still a lifetime ambition to be on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m hoping that THE celeb autism mum called Anna Kennedy will give in to my harrassing and organise an autism mums Strictly. Watch this space. To hear about my restraining order. 

WHAT IS YOUR LUCKY NUMBER? 

I don’t really have one. It would definitely be an even number if I did though.

 
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON?

Winter. But only because it includes Christmas - I hate being cold! 

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ONE WHAT WOULD YOUR FAVOURITE DISH FROM THE CHINESE BE?

Prawn crackers. Twice. 

WHAT IS YOUR USELESS TALENT? 

Being mum to my two girls. I mean, it’s not as if it’s a transferable skill!

A husky dog. 

WHICH ONE MEAL WOULD YOU EAT FOREVER? (IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ONE!) 

Cheese and biscuits. With Port.

My pockets. And that the kitten hasn’t snuck out front onto our busy road.

Holiday to Orlando going Premium Economy! 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNEL?

Oooh, tough one. Facebook because I’ve worked on my page for a lifetime. Instagram because I see people over on there regularly who I would never see on Facebook. And Twitter because I can feel all clever when I converse with educational types.

Bahamas, island hopping on honeymoon. Apart from the time when the small plane’s engine blew up. 

NAME ONE CAKE YOU ROCK AT BAKING 

Seasonal cup cakes. I love decorating them! 

WHICH SESSION ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO? 

Am excited about all of them. But mostly about Nintendo.

Christmas!
